Details
The Standards Determination and Affiliation Division of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, issued an urgent notice following a decision made on 26 Bhadra 2083. Under this directive, educational entities originally registered as non-profit, service-oriented, social, or community organizations under Section 4 of the Association Registration Act 2034 are barred from changing their status to private limited companies for the purpose of share trading or ownership transfer.
Institutions operating under CTEVT approval must maintain the exact legal framework under which they obtained their initial affiliation. They are required to complete necessary renewals and updates with their original registering authorities before submitting official documentation to the Council.
CTEVT has mandated that notarized copies of updated registration certificates and supporting authentic evidence must reach its office within 35 days from the notice publication date. Organizations that fail to meet this requirement or violate the directive face administrative penalties, including the possible revocation of their approval or affiliation status. What this means for students
Students currently enrolled in CTEVT non-profit affiliated colleges do not need to panic, but they should keep track of their institution's official affiliation standing. Ensure your college fulfills CTEVT administrative requirements promptly so your diploma and credentials remain fully valid and secure.
