The TU IOST entrance is a 2-hour objective (MCQ) test of 100 full marks with 35 pass marks: Mathematics 25, Physics 25, Chemistry 25, English 15, and Computer 10 marks, based on the Grade 11-12 curriculum.
Students who passed 10+2 or equivalent in Science with Mathematics and Physics. Admission is purely by entrance rank: merit lists fill the strongest campuses first.
IOST usually opens applications around Ashadh-Shrawan and holds the exam in Shrawan-Bhadra. Check the exam calendar on this site or the official iost.tu.edu.np notice for this year's exact dates.
