Following the severe flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Bhadra 10, 2083, the Private and Boarding School Organisation of Nepal (PABSON) initiated a nationwide fundraising campaign starting Bhadra 11. Contributions were collected from member institutions, teachers, staff, students, and parents across the country. As of Asoj 7, 2083, the total amount collected and allocated reached Rs 20,89,02,970.

The distribution of these funds includes direct contributions to government relief channels as well as direct institutional support. PABSON handed over Rs 12 crore to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund through Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle on Bhadra 26, followed by another Rs 3,39,02,970 submitted through Education Minister Sasmit Pokhrel on Asoj 7. Additionally, individual PABSON member schools deposited Rs 3.5 crore directly into the central disaster fund.

To assist local educational facilities directly, PABSON allocated Rs 2 crore for three completely destroyed and two partially damaged schools in the flood zones. PABSON Chief Advisor DK Dhungana stated that the organization is also prepared to send volunteer teachers for 10 to 15 days to address temporary teacher shortages in affected regions.
