Business finance deals with how money is raised and used by a business. It is the activity concerned with the acquisition of funds (money), the use of funds, and the distribution of profit by a business firm. It is also known as corporate finance. Business finance is concerned with the investment decision, financing decision, working capital management decision, and dividend decision.
In a business, the finance function involves acquiring and utilizing the funds necessary for essential operations. The finance functions are classified into two parts.
