What are the different types of Buses used in computer architecture?

A computer has three types of buses.

• Address bus: it carries the address of the memory location or I/O device that the CPU wants to reach. It is one way, from the CPU to the memory and devices. Its width decides the memory size.
• Data bus: it carries the actual data between the CPU, memory and I/O. It is two way. Its width decides how many bits move at a time.
• Control bus: it carries control signals such as read, write, clock, interrupt request and bus grant. It manages the use of the other two buses.
